Icelandic, Phuket based photographer and filmmaker. Working with anything from portrait, editorial, corporate, documentary, fine-art photography to filmmaking. Although I can do just about anything, my emphasis is people, specifically portraits and dialogue based storytelling.
I was born in Iceland and grew up in Reykjavik, the youngest of three brothers. In my late teenage years, looking towards my future education route, I got a job at a psychiatric hospital, along side my studies. During these years, photography slowly took over.
In 2006, me and my now wife Helga moved to Denmark for studies. During that time, we got an opportunity to move to Bejing. After returning to Denmark, about a year after graduating in commercial photography, we moved to Shanghai in 2012. After over a decade in Hong Kong we have now finally settled in Phuket Thailand.
The adventure, inspiration and thrill I got from the whole process, has been a huge source of personal and professional growth.
